Elderly woman dies under mysterious circumstances

Ara : A 65 year old woman died under mysterious circumstances at village Jogata under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district on April 16, 2017. Later, police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

SHO, Chandi Police Station, Dhananjay Sharma, said that a 65 year old woman Munna Devi, wife of Ram Suresh Singh of Jogata village, fell from the roof of her house and died on April 16 but her family members blamed that some villagers beat her to death over threshing of grains.

Sadar SDPO Sanjay Kumar said that an elderly woman had died but her family members alleged that she was killed. He said an inquiry has been ordered into the matter. Meanwhile, the post-mortem report revealed that the woman had no external injuries. Her bones near nose were broken.
