Raxaul (East Champaran, Bihar) : Eight passengers died while 12 others were injured and four went missing after a private bus they were travelling by skidded off the road and fell into river Sunkoshi on November 3, 2019, afternoon, at Sukut in Sindhupalchowk District in Nepal.
All the injured persons were rushed to Dhulikhal Hospital for treatment while the divers were pressed into service to locate te missing persons. Madhaw Prasad Kafle, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sindhupalchowk said that the Shailunshori Yatayat, which was on way to Kathmandu from Maga Deurali in Dolakha district, skidded of the road and fell some 100 meters below into river Sunkoshi at Sukute on November 3 afternoon. Nepal police recovered 8 bodies from the river during rescue operation. The deceased were yet to be identified.
