Patna : E L S N Bala Prasad, a 1986 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer and Commissioner, Departmental Inquiry, General Admiistration Department (GAD), has been appointed OSD, President of India, Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. Bihar government on October 17, 2017, relieved Bala Prasad to join as OSD, Rashtrapati Bhavan. Bala Prasad was Principal Secretary to Bihar Governor from January 25, 2016, to August 1, 2017.
Tripurai Sharan, a 1985 batch IAS officer and Chairman -cum-Member, Board of Revenue, Bihar, has been given additional chare of Commissioner, Departmental Inquiry. The GAD issued a notification to this effect on October 17.
