Dumraon tailor making national flag for last 20 years

Buxar:  Shameen, a resident of Ishwar Singh Ki Gali at Dumrao in Buxar district and tailor by profession, has been making the national flag for the last 20 years for Independence Day and Republic Day and also celebrates these days like festival with enthusiasm every year.

Shameen said he is a tailor by profession and learnt making of the national flag from his father Nanhku Mansoori who started making the national flag since his childhood and continued it till his death in 1996 and after that he continued making the national flag. Shameen said he started this work when he was only 18 year old and waits for these days and before  a month of these national festivals, he starts making the national flags leaving his traditional work of tailoring. Hundreds of national flags made by him are hoisted at different schools, colleges and offices every year. He wishes to establish communal harmony in the country.
