Dumraon residents protest arrest of 2 boozers

Buxar : Irate residents of Dumraon in Buxar district blocked Buxar-Ara main road on September 10, 2017, for about two hours and raised slogans against police administration in protest against arrest of two drunkards on the complain of someone.

Police had arrested Fagu Musahar of Chhotaka Dhakaich and Lal Babu Sah of Rehia village around midnight on September 9 when they were creating nuisance after boozing. In protest against their arrest, the residents of the area blocked the road alleging that police arrested them on complain of one Surendra Ram. The blockade was lifted after police pacified the protesters.

250 bottles of IMFL seized : SHO, Krishnabrahm police station, said that one Shanti Devi informed them that someone had hidden Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) at her house. Police immediately went there at seized 250 bottles of IMFL.
