Drug peddler arrested with 10 gm Heroin in Buxar

Buxar : Buxar police arrested a drug peddler Bijay Kumar Chaudhary, son of Madan Kumar Chaudhary, from his house in Shantinagar locality under Adarsh Nagar police station in Buxar district and also seized 10 gram Heroin from his possession on April 17, 2019, night. Later, police sent him to jail under judicial custody on April 18.

SHO, Adarsh Nagar police station, Avinash Kumar said that he got information that Heroin was being sold in  Shantinagar locality after which conducted raid at a house in that area. Police arrested the drug peddler Bijay Kumar Chaudhary and seized 10gram of Heroin from his possession and also seized his mobile.

The SHO said that Bijay Kumar Chaudhary was earlier jailed twice  for stealing motorcycle and selling liquor. After getting bail from the court, he got involved in drug peddling.

The SHO said that Bijay Kumar Chaudhary, during interrogation, gave details of the drug business and also revealed names of a number of drug peddlers including the mastermind. Police would arrest them soon, the SHO said.
