Ara : Unidentified criminals shot dead Ramesh Singh, the driver of a bridegroom at village Sewgar under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district on June 12, 2017, when he taking rest in the vehicle. Police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for pos-tmortem.
SHO Udwantnagar police station Rajiv Kumar said that a barat from village Posawa under Garhani police station had come to village Sewgar on June 11 evening. After the marriage, driver Ramesh Singh, son of Kamaldeo Singh of Badgaon under Azimabad police station, dropped the bridegroom to his in-laws’ house and returned to the ‘janwasa’ in the wee hour on June 12. He was taking rest in the vehicle when some criminals shot him dead.
