Ara : Police arrested Phula Devi, wife of Ram Ishwar Yadav, in connection with murder of Ram Badan Yadav, a sexagenarian, on January 4, 2017, from village Sarana under Shahpur police station on June 11, 2017, evening and forwarded her to jail.
Bhojpur SP Kshatranil Singh said that police had arrested Munna Rajbhar a month ago in connection with murder of Ram Badan Yadav at Sarana village under Shahpur police station on January 4, 2017, when he was sleeping at his house. During interrogation, Munna Rajbhar told police that he had relation with the daughter of Ram Ishwar and used to meet her frequently. Later, he also developed illicit relation with Phula Devi, wife of Ram Ishwar, according to the SP.
The families of Ram Ishwar Yadav and Ram Badan Yadav had long standing enmity over a piece of land so Phula Devi gave ‘supari’ of Rs 12,000 to Munna Rajbhar to kill Ram Badan Yadav. Munna Rajbhar, the SP said, along with his friend, shot dead Ram Badan Yadav when he was sleeping.
