DPS Bokaro topper at JEE (Main) Exam Ashish gives credit to school, family for his success

Bokaro: (Jharkhand) :  An ace quizzer and good debater, who is even a tabla player and a poet, DPS Bokaro student Ashish Harshvardhan, the school topper at JEE (Main) exam in 2019, not only made his family but even his alma mater and the city proud. Harshvardhan talks about who played an instrumental role in his school education shaping up his future goals.

Q. Name the three persons you want to give credit to for your success.

A. First is my family which includes my parents and sibling and the second my teachers specially Madan Mohan Sir and Rita Kumari Pandey Ma’am and thirdly my friend, mentor, and guide Anindita Bhadra.

Q.  Out of 10, what marks you will give to the school for your achievement?

A.  I will give 11 marks to my school. No words can express as to how my alma-mater groomed me to reach this stage.

Q. Which IIT will you opt for and branch after cracking the JEE( Advance)?

A. I will opt for IIT Delhi and will select Computer Science which is my favourite subject if I get a chance.

Q. After passing out from IIT what will be your next course of action — going for PhD or opting for foreign university?

A. My aim is to crack the Civil Services exam and getting into IAS.

Q. Do you want to add anything else?

A. “I am proud to have studied at a school like DPS Bokaro which is like a temple for me. The entire credit for my success till date goes to my alma mater, parents and teachers of the school.
