Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : With a view to creating awareness about the importance of conserving and protecting the Mother Earth, The Earth Week was observed at DPS Bokaro. To mark it as an occasion to ask the people to save mother earth, hundreds of the school students built a human chain and exhibited placards with messages to preserve the environment besides raising slogans. Saplings were planted by the students with the theme ‘When you plant a seed you plant a hope’.
DPS Bokaro Principal A.S Gangwar, in his message, said, “Let us change for the greater good. Let us come together, collaborate and work towards creating not just better medical technologies, but also healthier lives. As individuals, let us join hands to make a safer planet. Let us take in our hands the job of replenishing and restoring resources – rivers, forests, glacial expanses – which were given to us.” He urged everyone to put everything right as it is us who put the earth in its plight.
