Bokaro ( Jharkhand): Commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, DPS Bokaro, Jharkhand, celebrated Teachers’ Day on September 4, 2021, to acknowledge the sculptures of the society. The programme commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony followed by a floral tribute to the exemplary teacher and visionary leader, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
The students expressed their gratitude to their teachers through a cultural fiesta which commenced with a perfectly synchronised orchestral performance followed by a mesmerising dance by the students. The teachers also participated enthusiastically in a cultural programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, said, “Being a teacher is a pride that we carry forever. Good teaching is to be a facilitator to help a child discover his or her true potential. Most importantly give them learning experiences that will prepare them for life. Teachers inspire and motivate the young aspirants to dream big and soar high yet hold on to the essential humanitarian values.”Allow your passion to become your purpose and it will one day become your profession,” Gangwar told the students.
