Bokaro (Jharkhand) : DPS Bokaro on August 15, 2020, celebrated the 74th Independence Day on its campus remembering the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and security of the country. The national flag was hoisted by Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, on the premises of both the primary and senior wing of the school.

Speaking on the occasion Principal A S Gangwar said, “As our Tricolour is unfurled on this 74th Independence Day, let us pay our tribute to the great freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for India’s Independence. Let us also applaud the effort and spirit of the country’s frontline workers in the fight against Covid-19.”

Gangwar said, “As educationists, it becomes our prime responsibility to shape each individual child for their holistic development so that they give their best for the motherland. As India is marching forward and entering a new era of envisioned growth, now is the time for all the countryman to come together as one and address the challenges facing the country today.”  Gangwar, quoting Swami Vivekanand, said let us all -“Arise! Awake! And Stop not Till the Goal Is Reached” and transform India as the most developed nation of the world.”
