Bhabhua : Kaimur police arrested seven miscreants near Ruppur village under Bhabhua police station in Kaimur district on August 14, 2020, for snatching Rs 10 lakh from a rice dealer. Police also seized two countrymade pistols, two live cartridges, and two motorcycles from their possession.
Kaimur SP Dilnawaz Ahmad said that six armed miscreants riding two bikes had snatched Rs 10 lakh from a rice dealer near Ruppur village under Bhabhua police station when he was returning home. An FIR was lodged with Bhabhua police station in this connection. After institution of FIR, the SP formed an SIT.
The SP said that an employee of rice dealer was hand in glove with the miscreants and had informed the miscreants on WhatsApp about his movement and even recced for them. Police also arrested one Chelwa who had hatched the plan to loot cash from rice dealer. He had been jailed earlier several times and a number of criminal cases are pending against him.
