Bokaro ( Jharkhand): Delhi Public School Bokaro, Jharkhand, celebrated the 72nd Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, unfurled the national flag and extended his warm greetings on  the  Republic Day to all the teachers, students, and staff members of the school.

Addressing the gathering, Gangwar said that it is a day when India’s constitution came into force on January 26, 1950, completing the country’s transition toward becoming a Republic. “On this momentous occasion let us recall the sacrifices of our martyrs and ignite the fervour of patriotism to do our best for strengthening the unity, solidarity, and prosperity of our nation.”

 

The presence of the school student council members, teachers and staff added warmth and fervour to the celebration. The mellifluous rendition of the patriotic songs presented by the students filled the air with a surge of patriotism.
