Bokaro (Jharkhand) : Adding another jewel to its crown, DPS Bokaro in Jharkhand bagged the nationally coveted Eduleaders Award for ‘Use of Multimedia and Information and Communications Technology (ICT)’in educational curriculum. The Centre for Education Development (CED) Foundation, an all India forum of Eduleaders, conferred this award which was received by A S Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro, at the 9th Eduleaders Summit & Award ceremony organised at Hotel Radission Blue, Jammu. The theme of the conference was “Child Centred Happiness Curriculum.”
The conference witnessed a gala award presentation ceremony wherein eminent educationists with meaningful contribution in the field of education were felicitated.
‘Eduleaders Award’ is given by Centre for Education Development Foundation (CEDF), an endeavour of like-minded professionals working for enrichment of schools. It seeks to empower and support the teaching fraternity to enrich the school environment and redefine the national guidelines for a better future of empowered children.
On receiving this prestigious award, A S Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro, remarked, “For the last three decades DPS Bokaro have been offering a holistic blend of academics with a pleasurable array of cultural and literary activities well complimented by sports that give every child an opportunity for self-exploration. Understanding and meeting the needs of the 21st Century curriculum, the school has well-equipped multimedia and ICT to keep abreast with the changing technology. ”
Gangwar thanked CED Foundation Trust for recognising the efforts of DPS Bokaro and said that it surely motivates us to work harder. This award is the outcome of the team effort of our managing committee, dedicated staff, parents and of course, our students.
