DPS Bokaro alumni hold interactive session with present students

Bokaro ( Jharkhand ) : The 1992 batch students of DPS Bokaro in Jharkhand on July 22, 2017, took the stage at Kalidas Kala Bhavan on the school premises to have an interactive session with the present students.The alumni of DPS Bokaro have been setting up trends of enriching their juniors with glimpses of opportunities lying ahead.

The 1992 batch students, who reunited after 25 years, shared their thoughts with the students and said that DPS Bokaro is one of the premier schools across the world. Talking to the students, Vinay Choubey said that there are no shortcuts to success. Dr Kamal Mishra said, “Everyone will be successful and everyone has a talent.” Kishor Bagri urged the juniors to follow their dreams and enjoy the school life to the fullest as this is one of the best places – truly a ‘Learners Paradise.’

A cultural programme was organised by the students, where Aarav, Cultural Secretary, presented a fabulous dance of ‘Michael Jackson’ followed by a dance performance ‘Jyotirmay Gamaya’ and a scintillating ‘Salsa’ dance performance by the students.

Hemlata S. Mohan, Director & Principal, DPS Bokaro, expressed her happiness over the presence of  the alumni. She said that all the students are pioneers in their field and it is really great for the teachers to see their students achieve success. She said this is a nostalgic moment for all of us and she rendered her good wishes for their ongoing successful life. She also welcomed the initiatives taken by the alumni and felt that such interaction would help students gain an overall perspective. 

The Alumni present on the occasion included Ashok Lal, Ashish Ranjan, Ashish Taori, Chandra Shekhar,  Divya Raj, Dr. Kamal Mishra, Kishor Bagri, Manjari Jones, Naveen Agarwal, Nishant Mishra, J K Sinha, Raavi, Rakesh Kumar,  Rakesh Sharma, Rakesh Singh, Rituraj, Rohit Prasad, Sandeep, Dr. Shefali, Shrikant, Swati Gautam, Tilak Kumar Giri,  Vijay Gurunani, Vikas Srivastava, Vikram Priyadarshi, Vinay Choubey, Vinod Singh and Zoya Pandey.
