Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Bokaro police on July 22, 2017, morning fished out floating body of a young girl from Bokaro Steel City Park pond located in Sector 1 of city in Jharkhand. The deceased, who appeared to be in her late teens or early twenties, was wearing peacock blue Salwar suit which was spotted by few persons who went to visit the centrally located park hardly 20 metres opposite City police station of Bokaro. It is considered one of the most secured tourist spot of the city.
City police station cops rushed to the spot and fished out the body from the pond and sent it post -mortem to Chas Sub- division Hospital. The slippers of the girl were found beside the pond. As per police, the girl might have committed suicide. However, no suicide note has been found.
Bokaro DSP Ajay Kumar said that no missing report has been lodged with any police stations of Bokaro.The cops are trying to identify the girl. “We are waiting for post- mortem report while further investigations are on,” said the DSP.
