Patna : Novak Djokovic, 33, Serbia, on March 8, 2021, the winner of 18 Grand Slam singles titles including 9 Australian Open titles, set a record for the most number of weeks at No 1 ( 311 weeks) in ATP Rankings for players released on the day.

Djokoviv with 12,030 points remained World No 1 in the ATP rankings released on March 8, 2011, followed by Rafael Nadal, 34, Spain,  with 9,850 points. Daniil Medvedev, 25, Russia, is World No 3 with 9,735 points while Dominic Thiem, 27, Austria, wth 9,125 points is World No 4.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, 22, Greece, has jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 5 with 6,660 points after reaching the semi-finals of ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament at Rotterdam, Netherland, last week. Roger Federer, 39, Switzerland, has slipped 1 place and is ranked World No 6 with 6,630 points.

Marton Fucsovics, 29, Hungary, has jumped 13 places to be ranked World No 46 with 1,332 points after reaching the final of ABN AMRO World Tennis tournament last week. Jeremy Chardy, 34, France, has jumped 10 places to be ranked World No 54 with 1,110 points after reaching quarter-finals at Rotterdam last week.

Francisco Cerundolo, 22, Argentina, has jumped 25 places to be ranked World No 112 with 686 points after reaching the final of ATP Argentina Open last week. Andy Murray, 33, UK, the winner of three Grand Slam singles titles including two Wimbledon titles, has jumped 7 places to be ranked World No 116 with 640 points.

Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 31, India, has jumped 4 places and is ranked World No 130 with 578 points. Sumit Nagal, 23, India, has jumped 11 places to be ranked World No 139 with 532 points after reaching the QFs of ATP Argentina Open. Ramkumar Ramnathan, 26, India, has jumped 1 place and is ranked World No 201 with 355 points.
