Patna : Covid-19 cases increased to 2,62,779 in Bihar on March 8, 2021, as 21 more persons including 16 from Patna and 1 each from Aurangabad, Begusarai, Madhubani, Nalanda, and Rohtas, tested positive for the pandemic on March 7, 2021. The number of active cases dropped to 289 in Bihar on March 8 from 312 on March 7, 2021.
Of the 2,62,779 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,60,942 patients have been declared cured including 43 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) climbing to 99.30% on March 8, 2021. Bihas has tested 22662545 samples so far including 14,620 samples on March 7, 2021.
The Covid-19 increased to 1,547 in Bihar on March 8, 2021, with 1 new death being recorded in Pana in last 24 hours.With it, the toll increased to 445 in Patna. The number of active cases in Patna was 135 in Patna on March 8.
