Patna : Former World No 1 and winner of 12 Grand Slam titles Novak Djokovic, 31, Serbia, will play World No 6 and top seed Marin Cilic, 29, Croatia, in the final of Queen’s Club Tennis Championship, an ATP 500 Grass Court event, on June 24, 2018.
Djokovic beat World No 61 Jeremy Chardy, 31, France, 7-6, 6-4, in the semi-finals on June 23, 2018, in aclose contest. Chardy fired 5 Aces in the match while Djokovic fired 4 Aces. Chardy, however, committed two double faults. Djokovic won just a single break point in the match. Djokovics is currently ranked World No 22 in the ATP rankings.
Cilic defeated World No 21 Nick Kyrgios, 23, Australia, 7-6, 7-6, in the other semi-finals. Kyrgios fired 16 Aces in the match while Cilic fired 11 Aces. But, Kyrgios committed 3 double faults while Cilic committed just one double fault.
