Patna : Reigning Wimbledon and US Open champion Noval Djokovic, 31, Serbia, has been formally declared World No 1 tennis player in the ATP rankings released on November 5, 2018, after finishing runners-up at Paris Masters 1,000 at Paris on November 4, 2018. Djokovic has 8,045 points. Rafael Nadal, 32, Spain, who pulled out of Paris Masters due to injury has slipped to World No 2 position with 7,480 points while Roger Federer, 37, Switzerland, remains World No 3 with 6,020 points. Juan Martin del Porto, 30, Argentina, remains World No 4 with 5,300 points while Alexander Zverev, 21, Germany, is No 5 with 5,085 points.

Karen Khachanov, 22, Russia, has jumped 7 places to be ranked World No 11 with 2,835 points after winning the Paris Masters title on November 4, 2018, defeating Djokovic. Kei Nishikori, 28, Japan, has jumped two places to be ranked World No 9 with 3,390 points after reaching quarter-finals of Paris Masters.

Diego Schwartzman, 26, Argentina, has jumped 2 places to be ranked World No 17 with 1,880 points while Milos Raonic, 27, Canada, has jumped 3 places and is ranked World No 18 with 1,855 points. Grigor Dimitrov, 27, Bulgaria, has slipped 9 places and is ranked World No 19 with 1,835 points. David Goffin, 27, Belgium, has slipped 10 places to be ranked World No 22 with 1,785 points.

Philipp Kohlschreiber, 35, Germany, has jumped 7 places and is ranked World No 36 with 1,125 points. Malek Jaziri, 34, Tunisia, has jumped 9 places to be ranked World No 46 with 1,014 points. Albert Ramos Vinolas, 30, Spain, has jumped 5 places to be ranked World No 64 with 790 points.
