Criminal loot ornaments worth Rs 2 lakh from jewellery shop in Patna

Patna : Armed criminals looted gold ornaments and cash from a jewellery shop, Maa Ambe Jewellers, at Kurthaul under Parsa Bazaar police station in Patna district around 8.40 pm on November 4, 2018. Maa Ambe Jewelers is located in Ramashish Market at Kurthaul.
Eight bike borne masked criminals reached Maa Ambe Jewellers and hit shop-owner Bibhishan Prasad causing injury to him.
They also took hostages other employees of the shop at pistol point. The criminals then collected gold jewellery worth about Rs 2 lakh and some cash from the shop and escaped with pistols in their hands. On getting information, local police reached the spot and started investigation into the case.
