Patna : World No 5 in ATP rankings Grigor Dimitrov, 27, Bulgaria, and World No 151 Stan Wawrinka, 33, Switzerland, entered the third round of Cincinnati Masters 1,000 tennis tournament at Mason, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, on August 16, 2018.

Dimitrov beat World No 44 Mircha Zverev, 30, Germany, 7-6, 7-5 in the second round. Dimitrov served 8 Aces in the match to 5 by Mischa, the elder brother of World No 4 Alexander Zverev, 21. But, Dimitrov committed only 1 double faults to 6 by Mischa.

Wawrinka defeated World No 23 Kei Nishikori, 28, Japan, 6-4, 6-4 to enter the third round. Both the players committed 2 double faults each. Wawrinka won 3 break points while Nishikori won just one. Wawrinka served 8 ces in the match to just 1 by Nishikori.
