Patna : Leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Prem Kumar on Saturday claimed sharp differences have emerged in the Grand Alliance over the issue of `Nischay Yatra’ of  Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.

Prem Kumar, in a statement, said RJD and Congress leaders were being ignored by the chief minister in his Yatra in different districts and this surfaced when senior RJD leader Raghuwansh Prasad Singh claimed the Yatra of the chief minister has fizzled out and there was no gain from his yatra. He said differences had cropped in the alliance over the issue of distribution of tickets in the last assembly elections and also in connection with the appointment in different boards and corporations now.

Earlier, former union minister Raghuwansh Prasad Singh had criticised the chief minister Nitish Kumar for his ongoing Nischay Yatra and alleged it was a yatra undertaken for the JD(U) only. In a statement, Raghuwansh said the RJD and Congress, partners in the Grand Alliance government, have been ignored. Their workers and leaders are not given importance in CM’s Yatrar programmes. He said during his Yatra, the CM was making the elected representatives including MPs and legislators listen to his
officers only. Leaders are not allowed to speak in his yatra, he said.

The RJD leader said enthusiasm was absent in Nitish’s programmes now and participation of commonmen was also negligble. Only JD(U) workers are participating in Nitish’s yatra.
