Patna: Army chief Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag on Saturday presented the President’s Colours to the Bihar Regimental Centre (BRC), Danapur, at a colourful ceremony held at Parade Grounds of the BRC. Gen Suhag, who was chief guest at the 75th Raising Day of BRC, appreciated the role of BRC jawans and officers during Indo-Pak wars and Indo-China war and also their involvement in Indian Peace keeping Force in UNO.
Gen Suhag presented colours to the three new battalions of BRC-18,19 and 20. He said BRC has many jawans and officers decorated with Ashok Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, Kirti Chakra. He met the families of the war veterans and inquired about their welfare. Para- gliders from the Para brigade flew past over the parade andĀ dropped flowers from the sky.
