Departmental proceedings against Ara Sadar Hospital employee

Ara: Demand for money from the patients for providing better facilities during treatment by some employees of  Ara Sadar Hospital has come to light. Rinku Devi of  village Narainpur was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital for delivery on Saturday evening. Yogendra Kumar, an employee of Ara Sadar Hospital, demanded Rs 3,000 from her for providing better facility to her at the hospital. She complained to Pankaj Kumar, Hospital Manager, who after verification found the allegation correct. He referred the matter to Bhojpur Civil Surgeon Dr S K Aman who ordered department proceeding against him and said that the employee might be suspended.
