New Delhi : A delegation of OBC Parliamentarians and leaders from BJP called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on August 7, 2018. The Members of the delegation felicitated the Prime Minister for providing constitutional status to OBC Commission. The members said that the historic step would help in strengthening the OBC community.
The Prime Minister thanked the delegation for their words of appreciation and support. He encouraged the delegation to continue working for the uplift of the OBC community especially at the grassroot level. He urged the members to raise awareness among the community about their rights.Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State (Independent Charge) Santosh Kumar Gangwar were also present on the occasion, according to a PIB release.
