Patna : World Number 8 in Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings Juan Martin del Porto, 29, Argentina, and World Number 38 Milos Raonic, 27, Canada, entered the semi-finals of Indian Wells ATP Masters 1000 tournament at California, USA, on March 17, 2018. World Number 1 and top seed Roger Federer, 36, Switzerland, and World Number 49 Borna Coric, 21, had entered the semi-finals on March 16.

Juan Martin del Porto defeated 31st seed Philipp Kohlschreiber, 34, Germany, ranked 37th in the world, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, in the quarter-finals. Raonic defeated World Number 21 Sam Querrey, 30, USA, 7-5, 2-6, 6-3, to enter the semi-finals. del Poro and Raonic will meet in the semifinals. Federer will play Coric in the first semi-finals late March 17, 2018, night.

Women’s Section : World Number 19 in the WTA rakings Daria Kasatkina, 20, Russia, upset World Number 8 Venus Williams, 37, USA, 4-6, 6-4, 7-5, in the semi-finals on March 17 to enter the final of Indian Wells Masters. World Number 1 and top seed Simona Halep, 26, Romania, was playing World Number 44 Naomi Osaka, 20, Japan, in the second semi-finals. Osaka had won the first set 6-3.

Men’s Doubles : Mike Bryan, 39,  and Bob Bryan, 39, USA, will meet John Isner, 32,  and Jack Sock, 25, USA, in the Men’s doubles final of Indian Wells Masters on March 18, 2018.
