Ara : With one more person Sona Lal succumbing to his injuries at a private nursing home at Patna on March 15, 2020, the death toll in Babhnaw accident under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur District on March 12, 2020, increased to five.
SHO, Jagdishpur police station, said that an overcrowded Autorickshaw from village Dalippur under Dhangai police station was coming to Ara on March 12. When it reached near village Babhnaw under Jagdishpur police station on Ara-Mohania NH-30, a speeding Pick-Up van coming from Ara collided head on with it killing three persons : driver of Autorickshaw Rahul Kumar, 20, retired Postmaster Nathuni Mishra, 65, and Suresh Mahto, 65, a dumper driver in a private company in Odhisa, on the spot and injuring about half a dozen persons.
