New Delhi : The death toll due to novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) increased to five in India on March 22, 2020, with one more patient dying in Maharashtra. With it, Maharashtra has recorded two deaths due to COVID-19. One death each has been reported from Delhi, Karnataka, and Punjab.
Maharashtra has recorded 63 confirmed cases of novel Corona virus including three foreigners. The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases was 324 in the country including 41 foreigners and 24 cured/discharged/migrated till 11.45 am on March 22, 2020, according to Union Health & Family Welfare Ministry.
