Patna : Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 4 wickets in the 20th match of IPL-12 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on April 7, 2019, with captain Shreyas Iyer scoring 67 in 50 balls hitting 8 fours and 2 sixes and opener Prithvi Shaw scoring 28 in 22 balls with 5 fours. Their star studded batting line up notwithstanding, it was RCB’s 6th successive defeat in the IPL this year. DC won the toss but opted to bowl.

Batting first, RCB scored 149/8 in 20 overs with captain Virat Kohli scoring 41 in 33 balls hitting 1 four and 2 sixes and Moeen Ali scoring 32 in 18 balls hitting 1 four and 3 sixes. Kohli fell to fast bowler Kagiso Rabada, who also accounted for A B de Villers (17). For DC, Kagiso Rabada took 4/21 in 4 overs while Cris Morris took 2/28 in 4 overs.

DC attained the target in 18.5 overs scoring 152/6.
