Dacoits kill elderly person, assault 2 others at Patna village

Patna : Seven armed criminals killed an elderly person and looted cash, gold ornaments and other valuables from the house of one Ajay Malakar at village Nawada under Phulwarisharif police station, Patna, after July 16, 2018, midnight. Two other house inmates were also assaulted by the criminals.

Police said that 7 criminals sneaked into the house of Ajay Malakar around 1.30 am on July 17. They mercilessly assaulted an elderly person Vishwakarma alias Kalam sleeping at the main door of the house resulting in his death. The criminals then assaulted Ajay Malakar his wife Gudia Devi  causing injuries to them. Both of them were admitted to PMCH.

The criminals then collected cash, gold ornaments and other valuables from the house and escaped.  After the criminals escaped, Gudia Devi contacted one of her close relatives  and informed him about the incident.On getting information, local police reached the spot around 3 am on July 17. According to DSP, Phulwarisharif, Ramakant, raids are on to arrest those involved in the incident.
