Patna : Unhappy over law and order situation in the state capital, Zonal IG NH Khan on July 17, 2018, declared that there would be no compromise on crime. Khan said that Patna Police would work on zero tolerance policy. Talking to mediapersons here, IG Khan also expressed his displeasure over the functioning of some officers of Patna Police.
It may be mentioned here that Town DSP S Hashmi, SHO, Bahadurpur Police Station (PS), SHO, Jakkanpur PS were taken to tasks for their irresponsible conduct.The Zonal IG made also said that officers with excellent performances would be rewarded.
IG Khan said that there are about 70 police station in Patna district and all of them are working nicely. He said that several important cases have been solved. Several hardened criminals have surrendered due to mounting police pressure, he added. He also stressed on moral policing.
