Bokaro (Jharkhand) :The Cultural Week at DPS Bokaro concluded on August 1, 2019, with a magnificent display of talent by the students in performing arts : ‘Tabla Competition’ and ‘Visual Art’, in Inter-House Competitions. The concluding day witnessed captivating performances by the students of Primary Wing on Tabla whereas, in the senior wing, the day was marked by the aesthetic presentation of visual art. The six houses presented an amazing display of art, craft, and unique creations using household materials.

In the Tabla Competition, Chenab House which presented ‘Ek Taal’ stood first while Raavi House which presented ‘Teen Taal’ came second and Sutlej House presenting ‘Jhaptaal’ was declared third.

The Inter-House Visual Art Competition included activities like Poster Making, Face Painting, Flower Arrangement, Salad Decoration, Calligraphy, and Rangoli by the young students in their own innovative way which was a visual treat.

Appreciating the students, Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S  Gangwar, said such competitions introduce us to our Indian Culture. He said that skills of aesthetic creativity and innovation can be developed among the children. He also congratulated the teachers who worked relentlessly for the success of this programme. He also highlighted the stage décor for the cultural week which was done through best out of waste.
