Chhapra : Two motorcycle borne criminals shot dead Mukesh Kumar Gupta , 38, a Customer Service Point (CSP) Operator of State Bank of India (SBI), in broad daylight on June 15, 2020, and looted Rs 6 lakh cash from him near Mane Mathiya on Chhapra-Siwan Road under Ekma police station in Saran District in North Bihar when he was returning from Ekma branch of the SBI on his bike after drawing cash.
Mukesh Kumar Gupta was running the Customer Service Points (CSP) at village Daudpur and was a native of village Banvar under Daudpur police station. Ekma police lodged a case in this connection and raids are on to nab the criminals involved in this loot and murder.Mukesh was going to village Banvar after drawing Rs 6 lakh from Ekma branch of SBI when the criminals who were waiting for him opened fire at him near Mane-Mathiya, looted the bag containing cash, and escaped.
Mukesh was rushed to Ekma hospital but succumbed to his injuries en route hospital. The locals blocked Chhapra-Ekma road to protest the murder.
