Patna : Chennai Super Kings (CSK) made 211/4 in 20 overs against Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the 30th match of the IPL this season at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, on April 30, 2018, night, with opener Shane Watson, Australia, scoring an explosive 78 in 40 balls with 4 fours and 7 sixes and captain M S Dhoni scoring an unbeaten 51 in 22 balls with 2 fours and 5 sixes. DD had won the toss but opted to bowl.

CSK opener Faf du Plessis, South Africa, scored 33 in 33 balls with 3 fours and a six and was involved in a 102 run partnership with Watson for the first wicket. Ambati Rayudu, the most consistent CSK batsman this season, was run out for 41 in 24 balls hitting 5 fours and a six. Suresh Raina was out for 1.

For DD, Amit Mishra, Glen Maxwell, and Vijay Shankar took one wicket each. Trent Boult, New Zealand, gave 48 runs in his 4 overs while Liam Plunkett, England, leaked 52 runs in 3 overs.
