Saharsa : Armed criminals shot and injured a farmer Butan Singh Bind at village Aagar Bahiyar under Kanaria police outpost in Saharsa district on May 19, 2017, when he was harvesting his Maize crop.
The criminals fired bullets on Butan’s chest and escaped towards the adjoining Alouli Bahiyar in Khagaria district. Sources said that the criminals first asked Butan to stop harvesting Maize but when he refused they fired on him. He was rushed to Khagaria Sadar Hospital where the doctors referred him to Begusarai. Kanaria OP Incharge Dharmvir Kumar, who visited the spot, said police were investigating into the incident.
