Siwan: Two motorcycle borne criminals looted Rs 3.5 lakh cash from a petrol pump owner Hari Madhav Singh at village Hisua under Dhanauti police outpost in Siwan district on Tuesday. Police said that the incident took place when Singh was on way to local Hisua Gramin Bank to deposit the cash at around 2.30 pm. As he was approaching to the bank, the criminals snatched the bag (jhola) containing Rs 3.50 lakh cash from Singh and sped away from there. On getting information, ASP, Siwan, Arvind Gupta reached the spot and started investigation into the incident. Gupta said that raids were on to arrest those involved in the loot.
