New Delhi: Altogether 398 villages were electrified across the country from August 8 to August 14, 2016, under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojna (DDUGJY). Out of these electrified villages, two villages belong to Arunachal Pradesh, 60 to Assam, 28 to Bihar, 11 to Chhattisgarh, 91 to Jharkhand, 28 to Madhya Pradesh, 11 to Manipur, 36 to Meghalaya, 67 to Odisha , 18 to Rajasthan, 32 to Uttar Pradesh and four each to Himachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Nagaland and one each to Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand, according to a PIB release.
