Criminals loot Rs 1.26 lakh from Gas Agency in Saharsa

Saharsa : Four bike borne criminals looted Rs 1.26 lakh cash from Vir Bajrang HP Gas agency, Saur Bazaar, under Saur Bazaar police station in Saharsa district, on April 11, 2017, noon, at gun point and escaped unchallenged. The Gas Agency is hardly 150 metre away from the police station.

Munshi Pankaj Kumar Yadav was dealing with customers when four armed criminals riding two bikes stopped outside the Gas Agency at 12.3o pm. While two criminals carrying arms entered the agency and looted the bag containing the cash from him, two other criminals remained seated on the driving seats, Pankaj said. By the time the people present there realised what had happened there, the criminals had escaped with Rs 1.26 lakh cash, key of the godown and all the coupons, said owner of the Gas Agency Balram Gupta.

Police are conducting raids at different places to arrest the four criminals, said SHO, Saur Bazaar police station, Rudal Kumar. The SHO, however, said the four criminals were yet to be identified. He claimed that they would be arrested soon.
