Criminals loot Rs 1.11 lakh from Gopalganj bike agency

Gopalganj : Four bike borne criminals looted Rs 1.11 lakh from the employees Gopal Motors Hero Bike Agency located near Banjari Chowk on NH 28 under Gopalganj Town police station in Gopalganj district at 2.15 pm on May 25, 2017, at gun point and sped away towards Kuchaikot in the district. One of the agency staff was injured in the firing by the criminals.

Four criminals riding two bikes reached outside the gate of the Hero Bike Agency firing from their pistols when the agency employees were putting the bag containing cash into a Bolero parked there. The four criminals tried to snatch the cash bag from the agency employees. One of the employees got injured in the firing after which the criminals looted the bag and escaped unchallenged. The agency employees were going to deposit the cash into a private bank.

Gopalganj Town police station SHO Baleshwar Rai while confirming the cash loot by the criminals said that police were searching for them. He denied that the criminals had looted Rs 15 lakh. He said the criminals looted Rs 1.11 lakh only.
