4 criminals loot Rs 2.5 lakh from petrol pump owner in Gopalganj

Gopalganj : Four unidentified criminals riding two bikes looted Rs 2.5 lakh cash from the owner of a petrol pump Shishir Narain Singh alias Pappau Singh at 8 pm on May 16, 2017, at gun point when he was sitting outside the petrol pump located at Kararia Thakuraria under Phulwaria police station in Gopalganj district.

SHO, Phulwaria police station, Navin Kumar, said that the four criminals riding two bikes reached the petrol pump to refuel their two-wheelers. In the meanwhile, they saw someone handing over cash to Shishir Narain Singh. The four criminals snatched the cash from Singh and escaped, the SHO said adding the petrol pump owner could not identify them. The SHO said that an FIR had been lodged in this connection by Singh and investigation was on.
