Criminals demand Rs 20 lakh from Ara trader

Ara: A named FIR was lodged with Nawada police station, Ara,  against three persons by a shopkeeper for allegedly demanding a randari ( extortion amount) of Rs 20 lakh from him. The shopkeeper also demanded security for him and his family. Sonu Kumar, a funniture shop owner in Shivganj locality under Nawada police station, said that Rs 20 lakh was demanded from him a few days ago on his mobile but he did not care. On Sunday, three miscreants came to his shop  and demanded Rs 20 lakh from him and threatened him with dire consequences if he fails to comply with their demand. These miscreants were in jail in connection with murder of one Satyam six months ago and were granted bail recently.
