Ara: Bhojpur police, on a tip off, arrested Ravindra Paswan, president of a Primary agriculture credit society (PACS) and associate of a notorious criminal lodged in Ara jail Butan Chaudhary, near Belaur bus stand under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district on Wednesday evening when he was planning to commit some crime. The police also seized a double barrel countrymade pistol and six live cartridges from his possession. SHO, Udwantnagar police station, Rajiv Kumar, said that he was tipped off that PACS president Rabindra Paswan was hatching a plan to commit some crime. The SHO along with two constables in civil uniform caught him near Belaur bus stand. Ravindra ran the gang of Butan Chaudhary after he was arrested and sent to jail.
