CPI(ML) activists protest partial installation of LED bulbs at Ara

Ara : Hundreds of activists of the CPI (ML) led by their leader Amit Kumar Bunty took out a procession from their office near eastern railway crossing on March 16, 2018, that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated at the gate of the Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC) where they burnt the effigy of the Aircel company in protest against only partial installation of LED bulbs on electric poles at Ara.

Amit Kumar Bunty alleged that the officials of the Aircel company have adopted double yardstick and setting LED bulbs on electric poles in only those areas where influential persons resides. He also alleged that about 50% LED lights are non-functional.

FIR : A student leader Himanshu Yadav lon March 16 lodged a named FIR with Nawada police station, Ara,  against three persons including Lal Bahadur Singh, clerk of  B Ed college, Jagdishpur in Bhojpur district, for allegedly thrashing few students on March 13, 2018, during counseling for admission to the B. Ed course.
