Patna: The CPI on Friday appealed to the people to observe `Shiksha Bachao Arakshan Bachao’ day on July 12. State CPI Secretary Satya Narayan Singh said there was anarchy in education sector in the country as the centre was damaging the autonomy of educational institutions.
” The centre is continuously trying to saffronise both the education system and educational institutions. On the other hand, the Intermediate toppers scam is a slur on Bihar,” Singh said. He said that the students of College of Arts and Crafts, Patna University, have launched an agitation for the last two months demanding removal of the college principal but instead of removing the principal the state government was suppressing the students and sending them to jail. Singh has asked the CPI workers to take out procession and stage dharna and demonstration at all the district headquarters against the centre and state government o July 12, 2016.
