Ara : Hundreds of activists of the CPI(ML) led by Manoj Manjil took out a ‘Protest March’ on April 7, 2018, from their office near eastern railway crossing, Ara, that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated at gate of the office of Bhojpur DM Sanjeev Kumar demanding release of persons arrested during Bharat Bandh on April 2, 201y. The activists gheraoed the DM and raised slogans against Bhojpur district administration.

CPI(ML) leader Manoj Manjil alleged that during Bharat Bandh called by different opposition parties includin the CPI (ML), RJD, Jan Adhikar Party, on April 2, 2018, in protest against order of the Supreme Court allegedly diluting the provisions of SC/ST Act, the Bhojpur district administration had arrested some people implicating them in false cases. He demanded the release all the persons arrested in Bhojpur district.
