Patna : The detection of COVID-19 cases crossed 2 lakh mark in Bihar reaching 2,00,825 on October 15, 2020, afternoon, with 1,276 more persons including 290 from Patna, 60 from Purnia, 66 from Saharsa, 55 from Bhagalpur, 49 from Araria, 48 from Muzaffarpur, 46 from Jehanabad, and 45 from Gaya testing positive to it on October 14, 2020.
Of the 2,00,825 COVID-19 cases reported so far in Bihar, altogether 1,88,802 patients have been declared cured including 804 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 94.01%. Bihar has tested 87,77,607 samples till date including 1,08,085 samples on October 14, 2020.
The COVID-19 toll increased to 972 in Bihar on October 15, 2020, with 5 new deaths being reported in the state during last 24 hours including 2 from Patna, and one each from Araria, Vaishali, Bhojpur. A senior photographer of an English daily died at AIIMP due to Corona on October 15, 2020.
