Patna : COVID-19 cases rose to 1,96,268 in Bihar on October 11, 2020, afternoon, as 1,302 more persons including 290 from Patna, 114 from Araria, 63 from Nawada, 59 from Purnia, 57 from Madhepura, 40 from East Champaran, and 44 from Gaya, tested positive to the it on October 10, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 40 persons from Nalanda, 39 from Mjuzaffarpur, 34 from Gopalganj, 32 from Aurangabad, 31 from Bhagalpur, 30 from Jehanabad, 29 from Vaishali, 27 from Lakhisarai, 25 from Supaul, 23 each from Madhubani and Munger, and 20 from Saharsa also gtested positive to COVID-19 on October 10, 2020.

Of theĀ  1,96,268 COVID-19 cases reported till date in Bihar, altogether 1,84,224 patients have been declared cured including 1,217 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 93.86%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 11,097 on October 11, 2020.

The COVID-19 toll increased to 946 in Bihar on October 11, 2020, with two new deaths being reported in the state during last 24 hours including one each from Vaishali and Jehanabd.
