Patna : COVID-19 cases rose to 1,80,032 in Bihar on September 28, 2020, afternoon, as 1,150 persons including 198 from Patna, 101 from Purnia, 65 from Muzaffarpur, 58 from Supaul, 42 from Nalanda, and 41 each from from Jehanabad and Samastipur, tested positive to it on September 27, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 39 persons from Gaya, 37 from Aurangabad, 34 each from Bhagalpur and Darbhanga, 33 from Gopalganj, 31 from Madhubani, 30 from Madhepura, 28 from West Champaran, 26 from Vaishali, 24 from Jamui, 23 each from Sitamarhi, Saharsa, and East Champaran, also tested positive to COVID-19 on September 27, 2020. The number of active cases in Bihar was 12,951 on September 28, 2020.
Of the COVID 1,80,032 cases reported in Bihar, a total of 1,66,188 patients have been declared cured including 1,651 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 92.31%. Bihar has tested 69,90,232 samples so far including 1,20,464 samples on September 27.
The COVID-19 toll climbed to 892 in the state on September 28 with four new deaths, all rom patna, reported in the state during last 24 hours. The toll jumped to 207 in Patna on September 28. Patna has reported 27,457 COVID cases tll date of which 25,172 patients have been declared cured.
